To my few blog followers...Sorry for all the updates today, but I just spent the last hour trying to figure out how to embed a slideshow from Picasa. It's a bit of HTML (the only bit of HTML) I learned and clearly forgot. It took me many attempts to remember how to do this. That is why you are able to click on the photo below and be taken to a separate window to view the slideshow of other photos. I know, I know. Some of you are thinking, "So?" Please remember that I have OCD tendencies so I kept at it until I figured it out again. Looks like Picasa has changed up some of their coding when embedding photos and such...ANYWAY, the downer is I can't "check" it without publishing the post to make it live on the site. That's why I kept publishing; to check if it was working. Wouldn't it be nice if such functionality was available via the preview option to avoid needless publishing? Anyway, sorry about that for those who may get alerts of new publications!
Despite the snow and cold weather we had a great Christmas celebration with family and friends. In fact, the party didn't end until 1am which meant I didn't get to bed until well after 2am. The food was phenomenal. Blackjack was a hit and the As Seen On TV white elephant took the cake with folks licking and doing other things (you don't want to know) to the items they coveted to prevent them from being stolen. It was nuts to say the least! But a great time too!
