8 Years Ago...

Eight years ago I said, "I do," and Mark and I began our adventure as husband and wife. It's been one heck of a journey! So, Happy Anniversary husband of mine...don't forget to unload the dishwasher!

We celebrated this past Saturday with dinner at Butcher and the Boar. It was a wonderful meal and made more wonderful when we were surprised with a lovely gift from my little sister, Mai. She took care of our entire meal as an anniversary gift to us. How sweet!! Too bad she didn't know how much were were going to eat before she decided that. Thanks Mai!! 

Oh, The Places She'll Go!

Keira officially graduated from pre-school today. It all culminated in a wonderful graduation ceremony complete with caps and gowns for the kids. We've had such a wonderful experience at New Horizon Academy. All the teachers and staff have been wonderful influences in shaping Keira into the wonderful little girl she is today. Thank you NHA and congratulations to our sweet girl. We are so proud of you and we love you with all our hearts.

Fabulous Five

Keira has been non-stop busy since turning five just a couple of weeks ago. She enjoyed a princess birthday party at home with her friends from school, followed by a party with our family the following week, a special birthday lunch with a friend who wasn't able to make it to her party, a couple of play dates, a friend's birthday party this morning and right now she is up in her room with her best friend, Myaura, pretending to sleep. Every time I check on them they scramble into their sleeping bags and fake sleeping. Otherwise, they are giggling and whispering when I leave the room. I think it's going to be a late night for them.
